When we arrived at the auditorium ”Alfonso Rangel Guerra” there was a group’s team which gave every classmate a name badge. After that, each team decided to choose a team captain to assign a specific task to them. Some of them accommodated students and teachers in their seats when they arrived at the event site, whereas others were in the cabin where they were checking out technical issues such as audio and live online event and other classmates were taking photos before, during and after the event. Then when the event started some classmates presented “Dra. Mavel Marina'' by welcoming the audience to the event and reading her biodata. Next, two classmates were asking her the questions we considered the most useful for us as teachers, translators and interpreters. So at the time they asked her a question, Dra. Mavel Marina talked about her perspective and knowledge just to give us a wide explanation about how things are in the USA specifically in Santa Barbara, California. She emphasized reverse culture shock in academic exchange and what we need to work as teachers there or in any other state. Finally, there was time for extra questions, so some people from the audience asked her a question just to know more about their profession in the USA and speakers gave her a certificate and a gift as appreciation.
Unfortunately there was not much time left to answer all the questions so she decided to stay longer and whoever had a doubt or a question could come to her at the end and she would answer their questions.

The audience showed great interest to be autonomous, start teaching private lessons. On the other hand, tenth grade students were interested in teaching abroad, and the speaker highlighted the different types of exams that must be taken for certification, depending on the city you want to apply.
